We honored our Honors Program graduates last night in a short ceremony before the Graduate Reception. Pictured are Eva Bishop, Serena Ching, Will Morris, Lauren Price, Brad Schaefer, Kira Spears, and program director Dr. Craig Kaplowitz. Unable to attend were graduating seniors Cayla Cerny, Rebecca Fiesler, Jon Richardson, and Jarod Schieler.
This is the largest class of graduates we have had in The Honors Program to date, beating last year’s class by one.
We had another successful Puppy Stress Relief study break event on campus today.
For the third consecutive exam week The Honors Program has coordinated with the Anderson Animal Shelter in South Elgin to bring puppies to campus, to the delight of dogs and students alike.
Faculty, students, and friends were encouraged to bring their own dogs as well, so we had a full contingent of both dogs and people to enjoy some play time.
We had dogs large . . .
And small . . .
And, of course, refreshments…
Many thanks to Crystal Barker, Jon Richardson, Nate Rozanski, and Kimmy Blake for putting it all together.
